Math User offers 900 multi-level TRUE/FALSE and MULTIPLE CHOICE word problems. There are 3 levels: A, B, and C - easy to hard. Students must be able to apply their math skills to solve real world problems. Without this critical skill, math mastery of fact sets and even calculation skills is useless.

This program includes a calculator to use for multi-step solutions and large number calculations. Students must be able to decide what each word problem requires, including the sequence of steps needed to solve the problem. Levels B and C generally involve more steps and a grasp of more advanced concepts such as fractions, percents, ratios etc.

This partial screen shot of the True/False option shows the problem, current activity and score, and the calculator that is displayed. The student solves the problem and then clicks True or False before moving on. With Multiple Choice, the same screen shows with the exception of the answer options, which include Choice 1, Choice 2, or Neither. You can be sure as the parent/teacher that your children have achieved true mastery once they can solve the Level C problems. These same word problems are also printable in Math Maker.



Math User includes printable session results for recordkeeping. Each session may also be reviewed on screen before printing so that the parent/teacher can monitor the work accomplished in each session.
