Bryan’s Web Page - Service Notice - Decmber 26, 2009

Bryan’s Web Page has been temporarily removed to redesign the site. The new focus of the site will be communications topics, such as telephone, TV, radio, scanner listening, and other related topics. My railroad pages will be removed, the photos being moved to my Facebook page. Roadtrips will be going away completely for now, no plans to move or publish those pages anywhere else.
The reason for these changes is that the day of the personal web page is fading quickly into the past.  Social sites like MySpace and Facebook have taken over the public’s interest to get themselves out on the web. There are still many folks that have personal web pages, but the number is growing fewer and fewer.  Some of the advantages of using the social sites is that people can control who views their pages. This is something that is not possible on the web itself.  Once you publish something on the web, it’s there for anyone in the world and thanks to the archival sites, it never goes away completely, once you take a page down.
In the meantime, if you know who I am, then you are invited to go view my pages on Facebook.

Thanks,
Bryan - Bryan’s Web Page
